O.J. Sikes, Western music expert and historian

Hi Billy!
Great to hear from you! Thanks so much for listening to the show. I do have "Western Yesterday" and will be happy to play it. It's a great song and rendition! Right now, I'm taping the shows for late Nov-early Dec. so it will take awhile, but I'll put it on the list right now.
Thanks again. I saw a Gene Autry film on TV a couple of days ago and noticed that Tony White Cloud & family were in it. It reminded me of when I met Tony while  I was touring with Red Dawn.  At that time, I had no idea Tony had worked with Autry. I was impressed meeting the world's greatest hoop dancer.
    Regards,
         O.J.

Thank you for keeping my music on your broadcasts and giving our Wagonmasters CDs a plug. Good to hear our Dutchman's Gold again. I remember back when Biff Colley and Hough Cherry would feature a full hour of The Wagonmasters on KFOX Long Beach radio in the early 60's.
Did I send you a copy of Shirley and The Beeman Brothers 48 recordings on Cormac Records digitally re-mastered CD. Our Recording "Western Yesterday" might be usable for your show if you don't think it too obscure.

Keep up the good work.

Your old friend Billy
